Dear Friends of SJIMA,
As the situation surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak changes, we are committed to staying up-to-date and responding to recommendations from the CDC, Washington State Department of Health, and San Juan County Public Health District. The health and safety of all guests, staff, volunteers, students, artists, and our extended community is of the utmost importance to us. Thank you for your support during this unprecedented time.
SJIMA is following the guidance of public health officials and staying open during our regular museum hours (Friday-Monday 11 am-5 pm). There will be hand sanitizer provided around the building and our staff is disinfecting commonly touched surfaces, such as doorknobs, handles, and handrails throughout the day. You can assist in helping prevent the spread of coronavirus by thoroughly washing your hands regularly. Additional information can be found at www.sanjuanco.com/378/Health-Community-Services
If you are not feeling well or considered to be at-risk, we ask that you stay home, get well and don’t visit SJIMA to help keep others healthy.
We continue to be a place of beauty and inspiration for the community. All of us at SJIMA thank you for your help in keeping our community safe and for your continued support and understanding.
