Artist Statement:
I’ve lived here 26 years where my wife and I built a home and raised our family. I’ve always been at home in nature due to my having grown up in the pre-digital age in the San Bernardino Mountains, studying birds, rocks, fish and wood. Now I am turning my love of these natural materials into art, the way it presents itself to me. There is a story in each piece I create, and it feels like it reveals itself during the process of working the wood. My business name is Story Wood for this reason.
