Artists’ Registry Exhibition
Dec. 18th – Feb. 15, 2021
The Ninth Annual Artists’ Registry Show at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art (SJIMA) showcases artists from all the county’s islands.
More than 70 artists work all year to prepare for this show and to present their best pieces for the exhibition. They feature painting, sculpture, textiles, jewelry, photography, glass, pastels, ceramics, prints and multi-media and more. The show has enough to dazzle, no matter what subject or style one prefers.
The Registry was started as a resource for artists to connect as a community, and to have a place to exhibit their work in a professional, elegant gallery-style atmosphere.
The show opens Saturday, December 18, 2020 and runs until Monday, February 15, 2021. The hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday through Monday.
On Valentine’s Day, February 14, SJIMA is celebrating the Artists’ Registry show and the sixth anniversary in this building. On that day, SJIMA is holding a party from 3-6 p.m. and everyone is invited free of charge. Dates and hours depend on the COVID rules in effect at the time. SJIMA follows all of the health guidelines.
Admission is $10 and free to members and those 18 and younger. Mondays are Pay As You Can days. More information and updates can be found at https://sjima.org/. SJIMA is located at 540 Spring Street in Friday Harbor, WA and all are welcome to this joyous show.
