I am mostly interested in color and shape. I use watercolor and India ink. I want to be a great painter, but many of my paintings turn into collages. My biggest influences are Adolph Gottlieb, Helen Frankenthaler, and Mark Rothko (early works) and all Japanese sumi-e ink painting.
