Chakras Wall Hanging

CLASS DESCRIPTION

In this 4 hour class, you will create and bring home with you a wall hanging with the colors and symbols of the chakras. You’ll use brushes and acrylic paints on watercolor paper as you bring to life each section of your wall hanging, while exploring the color and meaning of each chakra. Paint pens, markers and stencils will be used to add details and words to your creation.

Instruction will be provided, and personal creative expression will be encouraged, so each wall hanging will be unique to the person creating it. Previous experience drawing and painting with acrylic paints is not necessary, this class welcomes people of all artistic abilities. Let’s gather in the light filled loft of the Islands Museum of Art to paint together and to kindle the creative spirit within. All materials will be provided.
