About the Event

SJIMA is pleased to re-introduce live Family Art Days (FAD) onsite sessions upstairs at the museum!

In conjunction with the current Artists Registry show at SJIMA running through February 20,

AR artists will present the first five workshops, and veteran FAD instructor Lana Hickman will

lead the final three workshops of this winter series.

FEBRUARY 4  WORKSHOP:  NATURE IS OUR MUSE with Pamela Hoke

In this class, Nature Artist, Pam Hoke, will introduce how to make your own paint with eco-friendly, non-toxic natural earth pigments and walnut oil. You'll also learn a few painting basics to help you express your special connection with one of nature's treasures from Pam's studio basket of favorites.

FAD is an art education program intended to give children the opportunity to create a hands-on art project with an adult family member(s), adult friend or mentor. For the onsite projects, at least one adult needs to accompany the children.  The adult should register under their name and specify the names and ages of children attending with them.

RSVP today as class sizes are limited to 20 participants.

Saturdays at 540 Spring Street Friday Harbor Questions? Email fad@sjima.org.

Sponsored by Suzy Wakefield, ArtsWA, and anonymous.
