Title: Otter and Algae

As a fine art photographer, I feel a challenge to both capture and create. When photographing wild animals I primarily try to capture images that reflect the power and beauty of the natural world. With landscape photography, I try to create an aesthetic interpretation of my vision of the world. Of course, there is overlap and I love to combine wildlife with landscape compositions. Over the last three decades, I have traveled all seven continents studying natural systems and collecting images through the eyes of and untamed natural historian.

Whether I’m searching the most remote corners of the world or my home in northeast Oregon, I am constantly amazed and challenged by what the human mind finds pleasing, inspiring or emotionally stimulating. A person could spend a lifetime thinking about such things. I intend to do so.
