ARTIST STATEMENT: Frank Gallimore
When he is not painting, he spends time with his wife and two children, writes poetry, and works as a graphic designer, editor, and associate director of marketing.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I take pride in engaging in a range of subjects, styles, and genres in my work. It’s a way to rotate crops. What these pieces have in common though is that they all began with a process of close observation and admiration before they turned inward and became expressive. Once I’ve laid in enough of a technical foundation, the rest is dancing.
